Anno dopo anno, il Monaco Yacht Show é diventato un appuntamento immancabile per tutti gli attori della nautica di diporto.

Questa 18ma edizione segna una nuova tappa con dei numeri in constante crescita : all’incirca 100 yachts fino a quasi 90 metri, più di 500 società leader saranno presenti e 28.000 sono i visitatori attesi.

Il Monaco Yacht Show non é solo un appuntamento internazionale di prestigio , ma anche una squadra che si impegna in maniera forte per alcune delle cause care al Principato.

Preoccupati del rispetto dell’ambiente, questa manifestazione compenserà per il quarto anno consecutivo le proprie emissioni di Co2 grazie al programma Carbon Neutral.

Inoltre, il Monaco Yacht Show sostiene la ricerca, affinché siano trovati dei trattamenti terapeutici per i bambini affetti dalla distrofia muscolare, versando la metà degli introiti sui biglietti d’ingresso all’Association Monégasque contre le Myopathie.

Mi congratulo con gli organizzatori, il Signor Luc Pettavino e la sua squadra, che attraverso la loro ambizione, la loro volontà e la loro competenza hanno fatto di questo salone un riferimento per lo yachting nel mondo.

When at the start of the 20th century, Albert I, the Sailor Prince fascinated by the sea, gathered the greatest sailboats for ‘Royal Regattas’ in the Bay of Monaco, He was far from imagining that, a 100 years later at the dawn of the 21st century, Port Hercule, that he subsequently developed, would become the privileged venue for the Monaco Yacht Show, the annual rendezvous of the finest units afloat.

This year, the 500 leading companies in luxury yachting will take over Port Hercule, its wharves and buildings so aficionados can admire 95 of the most splendid yachts from shipyards all over the world, including 40 innovations combining design of the future with concern for protecting our planet.

As always, the Monaco Yacht Show 2008 will perfectly illustrate the excellence the Principality wishes to express in all areas of action with our partners and economic players.

Once again, the 2007 Monaco Yacht Show was a resounding success, proving that this is indeed the major event in the yachting calendar. We were impressed with the variety and quality of yachts on show and visitor levels were up on the previous year. We look forward to the 2008 show!
